Shared computer safety checklist

Public computers can be risky. These steps reduce exposure and prevent session leaks.

Quick checklist

• Use private/incognito mode if you must sign in.
• Avoid saving passwords or “remember me”.
• Sign out, then fully close the browser.
• Clear downloads and site data if appropriate.
• Prefer your phone hotspot over unknown public Wi‑Fi.
• Afterwards, review sessions and sign out all devices from your own device.
