What is a “session audit” and why it matters?
A session audit is checking where you’re signed in and ending sessions you don’t recognize.
Quick checklist
- Find ‘Devices’, ‘Where you’re logged in’, or ‘Active sessions’.
- Sign out unknown devices immediately.
- Change passwords, then sign out all sessions.
- Review connected apps/third-party access.
- Check forwarding rules and recovery settings (email).
- Repeat monthly or after travel.
